The option for the nuclear energy is a question that is not placed at this moment, said the minister of the Economy and Public Works, Álvaro Santos Pereira, in the day where a set of personalities presented a manifesto to defend this energy alternative in Portugal.

This Wednesday, stocking hundred of personalities of the sector of the energy, as Alexandre Relvas, Antônio Cardoso e Cunha, Francisco Van Zeller, Henrique Neto, João Salgueiro, Borges Gouveia, José Ribeiro e Castro, José Veiga Simão, Mira Amaral, Valente de Oliveira, Miguel beleza, Miguel Cadilhe, Mira Amaral e Pedro Sampaio Nunes, presents a manifesto that defends the analysis of the introduction of the nuclear one in Portugal.

In the manifesto, the one that the Lusa Agency had access, the signatories relate that he has that to take decisions strong so that does not exist " a brutal increase of tarifas" of electricidade in the next year, in consequence of the politics followed for the Government of Jose Sócrates.

They advance despite the change of however occured Government took the one that was prepared " a new document, that it intends to approach an undisputed threat for the national accounts, appointedly the decurrent invoice of the raised energy dependence of país".
